There are many species of Candida and all are not pathogenic. some Candida spp. can be present in genitalia of some woman without causing any harm in a commensal form . what problem you are having with this organism as it is yeast like fungus and require long treatment and some precaution for complete cure .Hormonal pill only maintain vagianal Ph normal but dont have any effect on Candida. Diflucan is a oral tablet but it is better if you treat infection locally. you can use Mycostatin vaginal tablet 2 tab daily in vagina for 2 weeks .
