hi there, im a 28yr old female. I have been tild I have mastitis. .. ive gone back in the pill since last October. I suffered a huge ruptured cyst. I changed to cilest pill since feb. ive had antibiotics for the mastitis but its not clearing. I also had a cream to put on because infection had reached surface. can this be linked to the new pill?
No, Cilest does not aggravate or predispose any kind of infection. Maintain good personal hygiene and take protein rich diet like chicken, egg, milk and cheese. It will boost your immunity and help to fight infection. Mastitis is mostly caused by staphylococcal bacterial infection. Get done culture and sensitivity of pus of infected area and take antibiotic according to sensitivity report. Also look for any collection of pus in breast. If there is any collection of pus then you have to get it removed by incision & drainage by an experienced surgeon. Good Luck!!
