Can I Continue Exercising At Gym For A Month?

hello ma am.. i recently joined gym to reduce weight.i am 72kgs and 21 yrs old.after my graduation i had no work to do until i join my PG course.so i had put on weight.my parents said that if i leave gym i might put on more weight. i have only 1 month of time to start my PG course.so can i continue the gym doing basic n light exercises? pls do suggest me what to do...plss

hi...you need to understand one concept that along with exercise you diet has to be in control.. its not that when you stop gym you put on weight, its due to the poor food habits..you definitely need to exercise and eat right like small meals every 2-3 hours..fruits, nuts, salads, chana kurmura, egg whites etc as mid meals..salad with lunch and dinner.. avoiding fried, junk and sweets..sipping water through out the day.. consider exercise and diet as a lifestyle change and not a temporary routine.. even after your pg course starts make sure you exercise 3-4 times/week and control your food habits..enjoy and all the best..

when people go to gym there appetite increases and they start eating more energy dense food and they also take extra protein ,when they leave gym they mostly continue to take same amount of food this can be the reason why some people gain weight after leaving gym there is no other reason.with right diet plan and right plan for exercise you will lose weight and not gain it after leaving.
