Can MRI Help In Revealing Injuries Due To Dislocated Knuckle?

I dislocated my knuckle 3 months ago and still suffering from pain and swelling. Also issues with not feeling sensation in my finger. I have sent specialists and they just said it take time to heal. Went back to work and dislocated it again.X-rays were negative. Would a MRI show anything?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Definitely yrs.
MRI can show every injury. Only pre-requisite is MRI should be of of 3 tesla ( 0.3 or 1.5 tesla= tesla shows resolution power).
Please do for MRI of 3 tesla and you will find the problems. Please discuss with the Radiologist before subjecting to MRI and ask him/her whether their machine will help finding the problem.

All the best.

Not feeling sensation is an important issue. You may consult Neurologist for a second opinion.
