Hello and welcome to HCM,
I am Dr Nilajkumar a consultant gynecologist and I will be helping you in your queries.
I understand the problem. The bleeding pattern is not an unusual one, however if it began just after the C section then it is unusual.
Mirena also causes irregular bleeding.
Hormonal imbalances like
thyroid dysfunction and raised
estradiol will also produce bleeding.
If you had been in my clinic, A more detailed history and if
ultrasound is normal then hormone testing [thyroid and estradiol, E3 ] need to be evaluated. A, D and C or
hysteroscopy can be then undertaken for a biopsy of the endometrium to see if there is any abnormality or hormonal effect on the uterine lining.
After this proper treatment can be started.
Hope this was helpful.
Feel free to ask any further queries and I will be happy to help.
Thanks for using HCM.
Have a good day.
