SUPRATENTORIAL REGION:
• Hemorrhagic contusion are seen at left frontal lobe.
• Lacunar infarcts are seen at bilateral basal ganglia and right corona radiata.
• Falx is hyperdense anteriorly-mild subdural haemorrhage
• Ventricular system is normal.
• B/L Basal ganglia, thalami, internal capsule are normally seen.
• No midline shift.
POSTERIOR FOSSA REGION:
• A linear fracture line is seen at occipital bone nearly in midline.
• 4th ventricle is normal and seen in midline.
• Cerebellar hemispheres, vermis and brain stem are grossly normal.
• IMPRESSION:
• HEMORRHAGIC CONTUSION AT LEFT FRONTAL LOBE.
• A LINEAR FRACTURE LINE AT OCCIPITAL BONE.
• LACUNAR INFARCTS AT BILATERAL BASAL GANGLIA AND RIGHT CORONA RADIATA.
• MILD DIFFUSE AGE RELATED BRAIN ATROPHY.
