Can Any Online Doctor Help Me With The Following Results?
hi i have had an ultrasound on my ankle and the conclusion was tenosynovitis peroneal tendon with full thickness tear anterior talofibular ligament associated with large joint effusion.I am not sure how bad this is are you able to give me some answers to what might happen next.
As this indicates that you have a joint instability and ligament is already torn. I will advise you to stabilize the ankle Frist so by which you won't be allowing the joint to become more unstable. Using crepe bandage or ankle brace is advised. Also, if left without stabilizing then the joint may undergo faster degenerative changes and lead to Osteoarthritis. So better to stabilize. Later you can take help of a Physiotherapist who can help you with ankle stabilization exercises since the ligament is torn and now muscles have to take up the role to stabilize the ankle joint.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Jay Indravadan Patel, Physical Therapist or Physiotherapist
