Can Cough Affect X-ray And CBC Results?

can cough affects your x-ray and cbc results? i have a cough since last week, when i took carbocisteine and amoxicilline for 2 days (3x a day) it makes my condition better but not totally cure.

Thank you for your question on HCM. In my opinion you should consult pulmonologist for this. Since you are saying that you are having on off cough with out much relief from medicine, you should undergo atleast chest x ray. And yes cough can affect your chest x ray and CBC report. If you are having pneumonia it will identify on chest x ray and show high WBC count on CBC. So consult your pulmonologist rather than taking antibiotics on off.
