Can Doxycycline Is The Right Medication For Nodule Spots And Acne?

Hi, I m getting hard nodule spots and when they are gone, they leave a dark red mark where they were. I currently have an active one on my temple...I also have quite bad acne on my back. I am going to the doctor on Monday to ask for Doxycycline, is this the best antibiotic?
