Can Ferrous Sulfate Cause Palpitations In Anaemic?
I was diagnosed with anemia and was told to take 3 ferrous sulfate tabs daily. It seems as though everytime I take an iron tab, I have palpitations. Can ferrous sulfate cause palpitations? I've had several EKG's done & they were all normal...however, the palpitations are frightening. My blood count is still below normal but is an 11.7 now. What do you think may be causing the palpitations?

HELLO AND WELCOME.NO FERROUS SULPHATE DOESNT CAUSE PALPITATIONS. PLZ TAKE TAB PROPRANOLOL 10 MG WHEN U FEEL PALPITATIONS. BUT PLZ MAKE SURE U HAVE A BLOOD PRESSURE OF ABOVE 110/70 AND ARE NOT ASTHAMATIC BEFORE DOING SO. THANX
