Can Heart Attack Cause Cardiac Arrest With Sudden Death?
My husband died of an apparant massive heart attack. He dropped to the floort in mid sentence. Does this suggest that the heart attack triggered sudden cardiac arrest? Emergency responders did not use a defibulator on him apparantly because he did not have a pulse.

Yes massive heart attack is one of the cause for sudden cardiac death.
Probably secondary to ventricular dysrrhythmias.
Usually pulseless bt n vf.
Which are shockable rhythms.
They could have used defibrillator if suspected.
