I am taking treatment of acupuncture for balancing the doshas in my body against hypothyroidism. I am taking Eltroxin 75 mg daily from 7 yrs, with lot of side effects. NOW with acupuncture treatment I am feeling better and I wish to reduce my dose of eltroxin if you recommend.
Hi, Eltroxine has throxine which supplements your deceased thyroxine level in your body . The dose of which is regulated according to the level of thyroxine present and amount requied to bring back to the normal level . So if your thyroid gland has stated secretions more throxine hormone following acupunture then only dose of eltroxone can be reduced and It is measured through blood investigation of serum thyroxine level in TFT . So ony oponion get TFT Done and accordingly dose to be regulated under your general physician guidance . It should never be done by own.
Hope this ll help
Thanks n regards
