Can Malformed Vessels In The Bladder Cause Bleeding?
my brother is in hospital in another state. symptoms are gross hematuria; had procedure 2 weeks ago and they cauterized a bleeder(s) in the bladder and then he presented again with same symptoms. hgb is 9, so he has had significant bleeding . has slightly enlarged prostate. the dr. did the procedure again today and found an area that he cauterized again. he is going to get a second opinion before undergoing a turp as they suggested..catheter removed and no bleeding today. years ago he had internal bleeding , something called avm. my question is can you have these malformed vessels in the bladder which would cause these symptoms?
Ya malformed bleeders are the cause of bleeding, we had no option except damaging the bleeding vessels, turp can prevent further formation of bleeders, it cannot cure already formed bleeders
