Can Prednisone Cause Hot Flashes And Rash On Neck?
I ve been on prednisone a couple of months, now am weaning off them. I m 57 and had hot flashes. They seemed to have returned. I also have a visible, but not raised rash from neck to breast on front, neck to below shoulder blades on back. Can the prednisone cause these?

As you mentioned that your were taking prednisolone but you didn't mention the reason for which you were taking this drug.
As you mentioned that flashes returned i.e. you took this drug for rashes or allergy .
Now your hot flashes and rashes may be due to .
1 Reoccurrence of allergy & hot flashes , whatever may be the reason as on previous disease for which you started prednisolone.
2 Prednisolone in itself causes rashes and allergic reaction ( this allergic reaction may cause hot flashes or feeling like hot flashes).
This is the side effect of prednisolone that it relieves allergy but also causes allergy, so in my opinion consult your treating physician and get his opinion as physical examination is important in this type of cases.
