Can Sarcoidosis Sarcoidosis Lead To Superficial Thrombophlebitis?

I have just found out that I have superficial thrombophlebitis in my left thigh. I also have Sarcoidosis, but have been off my meds since August last year with no sign of it coming back. Are the 2 likely to be linked?? Is there anything I shouldn't be doing and should I be worried?? I am male, 34, 97kg, 5'11" and just wondered whilst I am waiting to see my doctor.

Respected Sir, hi there are recent datas suggesting correlation of sarcoidosis with Venous thromboembolism in Central - European Journal of immunology, stating chronic disesase of immune dysregulation might be associated with an increased risk of VTE.Mechanism responsible for that development may be influenced by several factors: activity of inflammation, clinical characteristics of sarcoidosis and comorbidities, high plasma levels of D-dimers are also correlated for the same. So you must get thorough clinical evaluation rather than neglecting it dear thanks regards
