Can Sharp Pain In Wrist While Rotating Or Twisting Indicate TFCC Tear?

hi i am 21 years old and suspect i may have a tfcc tear in my left wrist. i can pick up heavy objects and do most other things just fine but if i rotate or twist my wrist i get a sharp pain in the ulnar side of my wrist. dose this sound like a tfcc tear. i will be having an mri tomorow.

Hi,

If you rotate your wrist (as opening and closing lock with key) and you have mild pain then it is most probably ulnar collateral ligament sprain and if pain is sharp and severe then it is TFCC tear. If your pain is more than 4 weeks, it is most likely TFCC tear. Better Get an MRI done.
