Can Surgery Be Cancelled For Mild Cold Symptoms?

I am scheduled for breast reduction surgery with general anaesthesia in two days. I have had a slight head cold for past 10days with a slight cough. My nose is slightly stuffed. No chest problems and in good health otherwise. Will the dr cancel my surgery?

hello, welcome to healthcare magic, surgeries scheduled under general anaesthesia require a clear airway for optimum outcome. So the cold symptom will first be treated and surgery will be scheduled only after it is completely relieved. hope this info was useful
