Can Taking Thyronorm 100 Be Safe For Hypothyroid Condition?

i am a hypothyroid girl.it is is diagnosed 5 years back .now i take thyronorm 100 for last 2 years.now my tsh is below 5 and t3 and t4 normal.may i continue the medicine.is there any side effects for this medicine.i feel my weight is increased daily even if i control my diet.can you help me

Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns. I understood your concern.. As you are established case of hypothyroidism from last 5 years.. Presently , you are taking 100 mpg levothyroxine supplementation and as you mentioned that your T4 and T3 are with in normal range and your TSH is below 5..So that means your dose is fine.. If your weight is increased then Hypothyroid is not culprit.. You need to do change your lifestyle.. You have to do daily exercise and avoid fast food..Do change your diet.. Want to know about your menstrual cycle, is it normal? Any other chronic illness and what about your family history of Diabetes and other metabolic disorders...
No need to worry dear.. Just change your lifestyle and Levothyroxine - if you are talking optimum dose then there is no side effect of these medicine.. This is simple thyroid supplementation..
