Can Tooth Pain And Infection Related To Fever?
My 5 year old daughter has abcess tooth..been on antibiotic for 4 days..she has upcoming appt tohave tooth removed..yesterday she complained of neck pain but not today.she did begin to run a 102.1 fever tonight..tooth infected is lower left side. Could fever be related to the tooth?

hello thanks for consulting at hcm..it could be due to abscessed tooth secondary to that lymph nodes are swollen,, ask her to do salt water gargle thrice daily, drink warm water, since she has already taking antibiotic, keep the fever down by giving her anti-inflammatory medicines,,hope it helps..consult the dentist at the earliest for tooth removal,, tc
