Can Twisted Bowel Come Back Even After Surgery?

My daughter had emergency surgery for twisted bowel and had a portion removed. This happened two years ago. She is afraid that it will happen again and is on many different diets that she finds on the internet. Is there test she can have like an ultra sound or colonospy that would reassure her. She has asked her Dr. but has done nothing.??

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
As you have described, there are 2 side effects possible with the surgery she had, Already 2 years passed, so one threat has been cleared.
The possibilities are the adhesion, or strictures, as already 2 years passed, the possibility is almost nil.
She can have an M.R.I. to find any possibilities of having a twist of the intestines.
wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
