Can Withdrawal From Insulin Cause High Level Of Blood Sugar?

Dear Sir
I have been taking the medicine under the supervision of Endocrinologist. I was taking insulin about 25 units in a day. When doctor advised me to stop insulin and start using the medicine which he has given, after 10 days the diabetes level has been increased to 380 from 320 fasting and post lunch. I have been walking in the evening. Diet also changed. I am shocked at the sugar levels. Please advise me

Hi
Usually when shifted from insulin to oral anti diabetic drugs, it may take some time to normalise. Drugs are started at lower dose and titrated according to the blood sugar levels.
Don't worry
Review with your specialist
He will give you more expert opinion

Thank you
