Cause For White Mucous Coming Clogging?

I have acid reflux and just got an upper GI which showed I only had a flared up esophagus and stomach caused by a very bad virus that went bacterial.I took a anti biotic and streroids for this which got rid of the green and yellow mucous but i still have alot of white mucous clogging up things.I also have mucous coming out alot of my head and I think my chest and all this is mixing up with my acid reflux.My ENT could not find anything wrong and my Gasttro Dr just said keep taking my nexium twice a day and a 75 mg rantidine tablet every day.I think the Tussin CF I just started taking is finally helping to get rid of all this mucous.I am seeing another ENT tomorrow about this mucous problem.Is there anything else I can do?Also I have lost 35 pounds last 3 months.None of these DR s seem concerned about this weight loss.Any Sugggestions?Thanks so much.

Hello,
It is my privilege to be able to help you,
As you are having reflux oesophgitis for which you have undergone upper GI endoscopy which showed the signs of infection of the mucosa by a bacteria, which is giving you a terrible time.
Because of this you are having problems related with other parts of the upper respiratory tract and reflux is causing discomfort in your chest also .
As you are taking the medicine for the infection of the mucosa it is a chronic condition which may require some time.
I would advise you to approach a Gastroentrologist, he will be very helpful for your problems.
