at 6 years , one would expect some level of adenoidal enlargement
Add to that tonsillar hypertrophy , and the
snoring you hear is understandable. It is also fairly common
Some things to keep in mind are
1. Has she been on any medical treatment
2. How much is it affecting her quality of life ( is she drowsy in the day or dull)
3. Is she having tonsillar infections ( throat pain )
4. Is she losing weight , or not growing as per her age
If she has not been on any medication ( e.g. steroidal nasal sprays ) , that should be the first step
If she is having the above symptoms ( and not subsiding with medicines )
-- surgery should seriously be considered
