Child Has Frequent Stools, Breast Fed. Prescribed Probiotics, Enzyme Supplement Pepsin. Is This Sufficient?
Hi Thanks for your query wallamycin is and antibiotic, it is commonly advised for gastrointestinal infections in children. So it can be used if the infection is bacterial. Though most commonly such infections are caused by viruses in this age group, so here this medicine will be of little value. Most important is rehydration in such cases, so it is important to give ORS solution to prevent dehydration. Regards.
