Child Has Many Warts On Hands. How To Get Rid Of This?

Hi, my daughter is eight years old and she has many warts on her hands and i have tried many ways to get rid of the warts but until now it was impossible. i wonder is there any way without using medicines to cure them and how should i do that, because she is really embarrased when she goes in school and she tries to hide her hands in front of her friends and that makes me really worry for her.

Hi

Welcome to Healthcare Magic Forum

In warts, there is the thickened layer of horny skin which can be removed by various means.
This can be accomplished with a pumice stone or some other type of abrasive material after the sole of the hands has been soaked in warm water for 20 minutes to soften the wart. This procedure is painless and bloodless .
Another technique to remove the excess keratin is an over-the-counter salicylic acid preparation .

It can take several months to get rid of a large ones using these treatments.
Warts can spread, so monitor your hands closely and treat warts when they are small.

In general, you should see improvement in one to two weeks. If such treatment does not yield results after several weeks, you should see your doctor for more aggressive methods of wart removal. These include chemical cautery , electric cautery or radiofrequency ablation.

Wishing you speedy recovery

warts are due to a viral infection,so they are sometimes difficult to cure if the child has poor immunity. The only way without medicine is to improve the immunity of child by giving healthy nutritious diet to boost the immunity.
