Child Having Flu Like Illness, No Fever, Good Appetite, Took Dpt Vaccine, Bumps Appeared. Lymphadenopathy?
hi, my baby is 7 month old male last 2 weeks he had a flue like illness ( running nose, sneezing & snoring during sleep) with no fever good activity & good appetite after 5 days he became better & took a dpt vaccine (3rd dose) after that i noticed a small rounded mobile firm mass of about 0.5cm dimention on the rt lower occipit not tender & no change in the color of the skin above it & no other palpable mass in any other areas of the body is it a serious condition & waht is the relation between dpt vaccine & lymphadenopathy???

There is no relationship between vaccination and that lymphnode. If the lymphnode becomes tender or increases in size then consult your doctor.
Normal saline drops can be used if that cold is associated with blocked nose.
