Hello!
Thank you for the query.
According to your blood work you do suffer from
microcytic anemia. This condition is usually caused by
iron deficiency or blood loss. Iron deficiency can be caused by insufficient iron intake in diet, abnormal iron absorption due to chronic
stomach inflammation. Blood loss can be caused by ample menses, bleeding from stomach or esophagus (due to stomach cancer or
esophageal varices), bleeding from large intestine (due to colon cancer, inflammatory bowels disease). There is also many other less frequent reasons for such anemia (should be considered if mentioned conditions will be ruled out).
Your WBC level can be decreased due to same causes as anemia, however blood production disorders should be also ruled out.
I suggest you to visit your doctor, have blood smear, TIBC, transferine and ferritine checked. Upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy are also necessary and
transvaginal ultrasound.
If any suspicious cells will be present in blood smear, bone narrow biopsy will be necessary.
Please do not wait with diagnostics and visit your doctor as soon as possible.
Hope this will help.
Regards.
