Hi, From history it seems that this problem might be due to Planter fasciatis. Go for hot and cold application. Go for some prosthetic application under your foot. Consult orthopedic surgeon and get examined. Your problem for having pain in ribs might be due to costo-chondritis. Okand take care.

Dear Welcome to HCM We understand your concerns Pain in your foot is supposed to be due to arthritis or urea deposit. Especially when you said it is more painful in the morning and while stretching. Secondly, if there is no redness or swelling in the pain felt area, the itching can be ignored. For the pain you should consult a general physician. Pain under the ribs has so many causes but may not be related with your foot pain. Mostly it should be acidity or muscular spasm. Good luck.
