Coughing Black Mucus. Diabetic, Bilateral BK Amputee Smoking Marijuana. Any Cancer Issues ?
I am a 50 year old diabetic, bilateral BK amputee (male) and I smoke marijuana several times a week. I am concerned because I have been coughing up black mucous for the past few weeks. Six months ago I injured my ribs while cutting firewood. A chest X-Ray showed no damage to my lungs or any other abnormalities. I do suffer from some allergies and we burn a wood stove this time of year. Will the routine blood tests (cmp, CBC ,etc) reveal any cancer issues that may be present?
HI Thank for choosing HCM You may be having smokers cough the routine blood examinion will not provide any information regarding the cancer for that first thing is clinica lsign and symptoms if that supports the doubt then we can think about some other test , but better to quit the smoking then every thing will be alright , have nice day
