Could Constant Headache, Bodyache, Fatigue And Canker Sore In A Teenager Suggest HIV?

My 17 y/o son is constantly complaining of headaches, body aches, fatigue and canker sores. all research leads me to HIV, is there anything else I should be looking at? His PCP says its puberty.....he also misdiagnosed necrotic colon in my wife and Hep C in me!
I have no money, my wife is disabled on food stamps every penny goes on bills and medication, food, utilities and gas. Please help!

Hello
Thank you for contacting Health Care magic.
Please don't panic. The above said symptoms could also be indicative of a simple viral infection or some Vitamin deficiency. You should take a good history of your son to know of any exposure. If anything suspicious then definitely get a HIV test done which is very cheap and easily available.
Meanwhile, ask your son to take rest, adequate hydration and good diet along with multivitamins.
hoping your son shall get well soon.
