Could H.Pylori Or Approaching Periods Be Causing Dull Constant Pain Under The Left Ribs?

Hi - I have pain since this morning on the left side of my body under my ribs - hurts with every step I take. I usually run thursday mornings and any jarring really hurt it (I tried to run but after several steps, aborted that idea) so I did cardio on eliptical trainer in gym instead. It has not subsided and it has been at least 6 or 7 hours now. My period (menstrual cycle) is due in exactly one week. Could it be something related to that? It is not a sharp pain but dull constant pain. Enough to make me feel not very well! I do have Helicobacter Pylori so maybe this is related but have not experienced this pain at length like this before. I look forward to hearing any suggestions. Thanks

Hello,
Firstly, this kind of pain and location of the pain is not associated with your menstrual cycle. It could be stomach, gall bladder, muscle or bone related. Only an examination can reveal which. See a doctor, get examined and get tested.
