Could The Contraceptive Pill Have Any Side Effects On The Baby, If Conceived?

I am currently on the birth control gildess. I'm concerned about the affects the pill could have on a fetus if I was to get pregnant while still taking the birth control pills. It is categorized as X by the FDA, and while I know its highly unlikely to get pregnant if properly taking the pill, I wouldn't feel comfortable if it meant the baby could be harmed in any way if I was to become pregnant. Thoughts?

Hello,

Birth control pills are safe and will not cause problems for the unborn fetus. You can discontinue the pills in case you find out you are pregnant while on the pill.

Hope this answers your query
