Currently Taking Coversyl For BP. Causing Muscle Aches. Try Atacand?
It is hard to find a BP med which is compatible and has little side effects. I have tried 3 meds: norvasc, water pill, coversyl, and I was about to try Atacand 4 mg but since I had such a bad experience with the water pill, I changed my mind and want to stay on coversyl. The cough is at a minimum, but have terrible muscle aches in m arms. The norvasc and Hct increase my BP . Coversyl at least keeps my BP at a normal range. Should I try Atacand?

Since you are having coversyl anti hypertensive at present .perindopril is ingredient of coversyl and effective in hypertension and congestive cardiac failure.
The side effects of coversyl are upper respiratory infection and cough besides others.
Atacand is candesartan and effective in Hypertension and cardiac failure.
Now I want to ask one thing that you have not mentioned the disease for you are having these drugs.
The exact reading of Blood pressure matters for treatment point of view.
If lower blood pressure very high than its a cause of concern.
If upper blood pressure ( systolic ) high than it matters but it depends upon ,how much it is.
Before about any medicine we should know the exact disease .
So either consult your treating doctor or upload all reports.
