Diagnosed With Polyps On Prostate. What Treatment Is Recommended?

I just was diagnosed with polyps on my prostate. What treatment is recommended? When they did the scope do they also do biopsy? Put me on antibiotics for six weeks and said if same symptoms to come back also said if anything cancer found he will call me?

Thanks for your query.

Biopsy is always taken. As such the doctor has already told you that he will call up if cancer is found. This proves that biopsy was taken.

If the polyp turns out to be non-cancerous, it is removed surgically. There is no other treatment.
