Dizziness All The Time. Once In 2 Week. What Is Wrong?
hi, i have been getting dizzy and throwing up all my life and here recently i have been getting dizzy and throwing up like once every 2 weeks. when i was a little kid i useto get dizzy and throw up all the time and then it went away for a little while and now its back and doctors hasnt been able to find whats wrong with me and its making me very angry. so can you please tell me what could be wrong with me?
Hi Cassandra,
I am Dr Jignesh , Trying to solve your query.
There are not many conditions out there that cause constant dizziness.
However, MIGRAINE is the big one that does! Miniere's usually causes spells of dizziness with periods of being symptom-free. Rarely does it cause permanent disequilibrium.
Have you had an ENG test as well? The shimmering vision is also a symptom of migraine.
It's a MISERABLE thing to have, but there is help. The key is getting the proper diagnosis and then getting on the right meds to stop it. Try finding a good neuro-otologist. They are especially good at differentiating between inner ear and migraine. OTHER cause my be INNER EAR DIEASE.
