Do I Need A Surgery For Severe Left Neural Foraminal Stenosis?
Would I need surgery from these MRI results. at c7-t1 there is a left paramedian disc herniation extending into the left neural foramen which abuts the spinal cord. There is moderate left sided canal stenosis with AP dimension of 0.7 cm. There is severe left neural foraminal stenosis. There is disc bulge. symptoms pain in left arm and numbness in 3 fingers and hand weakness.
HI Thank for asking to HCM Look the clinical sing and symptoms are great concern and not the MRI findings if you do not have any severity and MRI suggestive of moderate changes then this does not need any surgery conservative management gives good result, in your case I think surgery is not required, this will come around with medical treatment, take care and have nice day.
