Do Pain Killers And Medications For Inflammation Cause Blood In Vomit?
My wife has been dealing with a lot of hip and lower back pain the last month, she has also had strep throat during this period. Yesterday she complained that her throat was hurting again, this morning she had a fever of 100.6 and muscle aches. This evening she was nauticiaus and started vomiting and there was traces of blood. I know she has been taking alot of pain killers and anti inflammatory meds, would this cause the blood in her vomit?
Hi, Looking to the history this bleeding can be due to, Severe infection in throat producing blood from congested throat mucosa or from the stomach due to gastritis or even ulcer due to taking pain killer or anti-inflammatory medicine for long time. Consult doctor and get examined. Meanwhile take some ant acacid like Rantac or Famotidine. Take plenty of milk. Ok and take care.
