I do and sometimes it even feels uncomfortable. When I cough it goes away. I ve had it all my life and I m in my 30 s now which is probably why I never made it an issue since it s been a part of my life. Just wondering though if others go through this too and don t do anything about it. Hani====This is by far NOT a psycho disease. It is very real and comes without me even thinking about it.
I have the same condition. There are a few names for it depending on the type of irregular beats/skipping beats that you are experiencing. Mine is called tachycardia, which is a rapid, irregular heartbeat on occasion. Usually when I bend down below my waist, lift something heavy, or lay down. Coughing, blowing while having your thumb stuck in your mouth all helps the irregular beats go away. Pressure is the key. Sometimes holding your breath can help as well. Push with your abdominal muscles when holding your breath and this will help more.
What you have is not normal but it is a very widely experienced condition by millions of people, myself included. I am 24 now and have had it since high school. To do anything about it, your doctor would have to go in with a camera through your groin to see what the problem is. Insurance usually covers these procedures. Hope this helps, stay healthy.
