Does Norethisterone Pill Cause Irregular Periods?

Hi, my girlfriend took norethisterone pill about 5 weeks ago, we had unprotected sex, but after she stopped taking the pill, 4 days later she had her period. Her next period was suppose to due today, but nothing happen. So is there by any chance that she could be pregnant? Or could it be the pill tat mess up the cycle? Thx very much
