Does Naturogest Cause Increased Blood Flow In Uterus?
My wife is 2 months preganant and prescribed Naturogest (Progesterone) 200 mg along with follic acid recently by gynacologist. Third month Ultrasonography shows increased blood flow to one side of the utereus. Does it anything to do with naturogest?
Naturogest is the Progesterone, which is a hormone secreted in the body, given orally as a supplement to carry the pregnancy in the early period of the pregnancy. This hormone makes the uterus to fit for implantation. This maintains the implanted embryo to grow progressively. Progesterone synthesized in the ovaries, placenta and adrenal glands.
During the early phase of the menstrual cycle, this hormone changes the endometrial lining of the uterus to become thick and make them fit for implantation of the fertilized egg. Corpus luteal cyst synthesis the hormone progesterone until first 10 weeks of pregnancy then by the placenta. Increased blood flow in the uterus is probably be the site of placental formation.
