Does Pain Spreading From Where Liver Is To Armpit Indicate Metastasis?

Hello. My name is Chris i am man 66 year old. Lately for 3 days i have been suffering from liver side pain and nausea which radiate to the left armpit , shoulder and both arms. Also that pain is connected with my chronic cough i have been suffering for 1 year. Can those symptoms indicate that there is some metastasis ? Please reply me ?

Welcome to health care magic.

1.No metastasis will not give such symptoms like radiating pain from liver to armpits.
2.The symptoms suggest the cough could give the pain in the chest wall radiating to the axillary region / armpits.
3.In this case i would recommend to get a ECG to rule out the cardiac causes followed by a ultrasound abdomen pelvis.
4.Ultrasound will help to evaluate the possible cause and rule out the metastasis which you are suspecting.
5.In case for a over view of chest and lung pathology get a chest PA view x-ray done - ECG,USG,Chest X-ray will conclude the possible cause.

Good luck.
