Does Recurring Fever Indicate Sign Of Chikungunya?

HI, I am having fever last 2 days. when I sleep for sometime and wake fever seems to have gone, but I still feel bit of head ache and lethargic. After I do some work, I will get my fever back... I didn't had any soar throat or flu... I simply had fever last two to three days...Does it have anything to do with chicken gunia. I am 31 years old

Hi thanks for asking question.
You have only little headache and fever.
In chicken guniya there is also complaint of joint pain, muscle pain with headache.
Here is less chance of chikunguniya.
Mostly it will be viral infection. You need just now only symptomatic treatment.
Take simple paracetamol for headache and mild fever.
If after 3 to 4 days , if fever increasing along with other symptoms like sore throat then further work up has to be done and treated accordingly.
You can do your CBC to rule out infective etiology.
I hope i have solve your query
