Does Steroid Tapering Cause Vomiting?

My 10 year old son was just released from the hospital after being diagnosed with transverse myelitis.Its been 4 days since he was released and he has started vomiting.He was put on a steroid taper and is currently at 30 mg for the next 2 days. Could this symptom be because of the taper or should I have him seen again at the hospital?

Steroids can irritate the stomach lining and cause vomiting but this is not the only cause of vomiting.

It would be best to take him to see his doctor for evaluation since he was just released from the hospital.
