Done Hysterectomy. Feeling Light Headed, Hot, Winded. Symptoms Of Menopause?
I just had a hysterectomy....6 days ago. They took everything out...uterus, cervix, ovaries. As of yesterday I am light headed, winded, hot and cant cool down (like waves of heat constantly surging through my body and just not feeling good. Am I already having symptoms of menopause? I have an appointment in two weeks with a dr to get on compound meds for hormone therapy but I hate being light headed and hot. I need some advice on how to handle this and what this is.
Hi, Since you had a total hysterectomy, it is obvious that you could be experiencing menopausal symptoms. You would need estrogen supplements to get relief from these symptoms if they are causing much discomfort. Meanwhile try to keep your surroundings cool, wear comfortable loose clothing, avoid wearing tight undergarments, wear preferably cotton materials, drink plenty of water and take plenty of fruits and fresh vegetables and practice meditation for at least 30 minutes a day. Hope this helps. Take care.
