Ear Infections Attribute To Smoke Allergy Or Narrow Eustatian Tubes?
I have had recurrent ear infections and ruptured ear drums for 40 years. They seem to occur when I am exposed to cigarette smoke. Is this an allergy to smoke or can I attribute it to narrow eustatian tubes? I did get a stuffed nose the day before the last rupture, and now my entire left side of my ear/throat is swollen and severely painful? I took a T3 which helped the pain but not the problem

It is due to blocked eustachian tubes. throat infection has led to the infection of drums. as your history suggests, treating your throat will give relief for your ears as well but if they are discharging actively, they need to be treated as well
