Infectious Diseases Specialist 's  Response
Hello,
Welcome to HCM,

The history and symptoms of your mother suggest that she may be having some allergic manifestations and viral infection. As your mother is having these symptoms for more than one week, she should be evaluated thoroughly.

I would recommend her to undergo lab investigations like CBC and absolute eosinophil count (AEC). The results of these investigations will help us to make a proper diagnosis and to manage the case.

For the present symptoms I would suggest her to follow
1. Oral antihistamine
2. NSAIDs to control the fever.
3.Apply Calamine lotion.
Thank you.
