Experience Chest Pains While Walking, Running Along With Fatigue. Is It Angina? Taking Insulin, Metformin, Losartan
for the last several months, I have experienced chest pains with walking/running along with fatigue every day. my research shows that it is angina...am I on the right track? 64 yo male, diabetic 160 insulin units/day, metformin, bp med (losartan) also a prostate med...I just can't shake the fatigue and lack of energy...any ideas
If your diabetes is not under control it can itself cause a fatigue due to lack of energy Also metformin cause a lot of lactic acid build up causing bloating and cramps sometimes Thirdly it can be angina as you are diabetic and on insulin there can be a risk of atherosclerosis in the arteries of the heart and diabetic cardiomyopathy See a heart specialist and get a 2d echo done or stress test to rule out things
