feeling tired, unmotivated, slightly nauseous, discouraged, worried and not sure what to do. I'm going to counseling and have been seeing an MD for about a month now. I have to work this afternoon and am not sure what to do with the next few hours before them. I can't seem to just sit and relax, yet I don't have much energy to do much else. Any suggestions? Thanks
Hi,
thanks for using health care magic.
Your are suffering from depression. Counselling usually takes some time for imrovement. so you should trust on counselor, follow the advise completely and wait for some more time.
If you feel non-satisfied with counselling, you need to consult psychiatrist for detailed evaluation and Treatment. You might be benefited with anti depressant drugs like escitalopram or fluoxetine.
You should also rule out the physical causes of depression like thyroid imbalance, vitamin B12 deficiency.
thanks
You are feeling unmotivated, nervous, discouraged, worried, tired. These symptoms might be due to anxiety mixed with depression. You are already on counseling but still I would advise you to please follow relaxation methods. Try Progressive Muscle Relaxation Techniques, Deep Breathing Exercises, Yoga and Meditation to boost your confidence and to get relaxation. If problem persists then visit a good psychiatrist for expert opinion. Medicines like Fluoxetine, Sertaline, Paroxetine etc are very beneficial in such type of symptoms.
Thanks
