Fever, Cold Sweat, Muscle Pain, Blue Feet. Blood Test Showed High Neutrophil And Low Lymphocytes. What Does This Mean?
Hi, My daughter who is 15 has been suffering from high fevers followed by cold sweat and muscle pain as well as a strange blue color in her feet . These symptoms repeat about every 3 to 4 weeks. A recent blood test revealed a high neutrophill and low lymphocyte count. What does this mean as we are really concerned and can t seem to find a answer.
Your daughter is having fever, sweating and myalgia. Neutrophils is increase in the neutrophil count may be due to any bacterial infection. Lymphocytopenia is decrease in lymphocyte count. Due to this reason she is prone for infections. Do a blood culture and sensitivity. Identify the causative organism. Treat accordingly.
