Given Vaginal Capsules For Ovula Nabothi And Colpitis. Is This The Correct Treatment?
Hi,
Is it possible to get ureaplasma, mycoplasma or chlamydia if you having one partner for whole life. I'm 27 years old and my partner and I have been only with each other. We are in a relationship for 10 years. I was diagnosed with cervical wound with a few Ovulae Nabothii, PAPA test is II and I have colpitis. Doctor gave me vaginal capsules and told me that everything is ok and that I irrigate myself once in a while. Then I spoke with other doctor who told me that wound is consequence of untreated cervicitis and that the main cause of it are those bacterias. So my questions are was I treated properly and is it possible to have those bacterias in monogamous relationship? I apologize if my English is bad, but I hope you'll understand my concerns and condition. Thank you!

There are many causes of cervicitis. Some are caused by sexually transmitted germs and other by germs that are not sexually transmitted. It is possible to have this even if you have both know n just one sexual partner because it is not only sexually transmitted germs that cause this. The best thing is to get a culture of a vaginal sample. This will isolate the causative germ and tell us whether it is sexually transmitted or not.
The composition of vaginal ovules in terms of drug content varies a lot. You should please give the name of the specific ovule so that we can look into and give you a personalized answer.
